Fleet Cost & Care’s Software Integration with Tadano Crane’s HELLO – NET Telematic System
Detroit, MI –Fleet Cost & Care, makers of NexGen and Atom fleet management software, announced a new integration with Tadano’s HELLO – NET telematic system. The partnership between Fleet Cost & Care and Tadano enables users who operate Tadano cranes equipped with HELLO – NET to have unit engine hours, mileage and GPS coordinates directly imported into NexGen. Every department within a crane rental operation will benefit from this integration and most operations will see an overall increase in profitability once implemented.
The integration eliminates the step of manually keying in data and relying on two maintenance systems that don’t communicate with each other. Automating this key step in the workflow process saves service manager’s time and reduces human error. With this feature, service managers will be better equipped to proactively schedule coming due preventative maintenance. Regular maintenance is essential to keeping cranes running and to maintaining their value over time. Proactive upkeep is also a key aspect of providing of excellent customer service, ensuring project schedules aren’t delayed due to down equipment and ultimately reducing unit downtime and lost revenue from excessive wear and tear.
Combining the data captured through HELLO – NET and integrating it into NexGen gives dispatchers the ability to quickly access the actual unit locations from NexGen or Atom, mapping out which available units have the shortest route to the next job site. Hours can also be tracked remotely to ensure customers are accurately billed for bare rental jobs, that long-term bare rentals are properly maintained and that no revenue is lost.
Fleet Cost & Care integrates with many third-party systems, but this is the first integration built with an internal telematic system direct from the manufacturer. Tadano is the largest Japan-based manufacturer of cranes and aerial work platforms. The company is the seventh largest crane manufacturer in the world. They have been rapidly growing their All-Terrain and Rough-Terrain crane market share in North America.
“Deciding to integrate our software with HELLO – NET was an easy decision. Many of our customers own and operate fleets of Tadano cranes and are looking for ways to centralize their operations systems. HELLO – NET provides invaluable data that we can send to our system in real-time and turn into actionable business intelligence. We look forward to growing our partnership with Tadano and continuing to help our mutual customers track and maintain their equipment with ease,” said Jack Curran, Director of Sales at FCC.
“Tadano is committed to making our HELLO – NET telematics data accessible to our customers. This ability to integrate HELLO – NET data with the Fleet Cost & Care system will simplify the process of delivering valuable crane information to our customers who use the Fleet Cost & Care management platform” added Ingo Schiller, President of Tadano America.
