Our industry leading software solutions change the way fleet owners manage their businesses.
Fleet Cost & Care began in 1993 when the owners of the JJ Curran Crane Company decided to branch out into fleet software technology. The JJ Curran Crane Company founded in 1950, by John “JJ” Curran had become southeastern Michigan’s leader in large all-terrain hydraulic cranes. Having worked in the family crane business since 1981, Jeff Curran – son of JJ – saw a need to bring fleet management into the digital age and he began to develop ideas for fleet management software.
Jeff Curran’s goal of establishing Fleet Cost & Care was to create a centralized software solution to improve revenue and reduce costs for fleet owners everywhere. After careful research and partnering with a team of first-class developers, Fleet Cost & Care (FCC) became a reality.
FCC launched its first fleet management system in 1996 with functionality based in preventative maintenance, scheduling, and invoicing. Development continued and software functions and reporting capability increased. In 2007 the 2nd generation of FCC’s software hit the market – now known as NexGen. Since NexGen’s release FCC has gone on to develop a mobile application – Atom – that complements the NexGen system and enables users to bring their work with them wherever they go.
Today, Fleet Cost & Care is a leader in software solutions, training and support of products designed for fleet management in the construction, crane, rigging and heavy equipment rental industries. FCC provides businesses of all sizes easy-to-use software designed to manage fleet and personnel operations. Our software solutions: NexGen fleet management software and the Atom mobile app, together, offer a comprehensive software suite to provide business intelligence needed to successfully manage your fleet on a daily basis.
