David Thornton
David Thornton brings a strong background in process improvement, operational analysis, and workflow optimization to his role on Fleet Cost & Care’s Business Solutions team. He works closely with customer organizations to understand current practices, identify inefficiencies, and develop clear, actionable roadmaps that strengthen adoption, streamline operations, and improve overall performance.
His experience spans the crane, logistics, and technology sectors, including serving as a dispatcher for a mid-size crane and rigging company in the Pacific Northwest, contributing to process improvement as a Fellow on Amazon’s Innovations Team, and prior service as a disabled combat veteran in Iraq and Afghanistan. Across each role, David has built a reputation for making complex systems simpler, more intuitive, and more effective for the people who rely on them.
David holds certifications as a Software Product Owner, Product Manager, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and 3D Lift Plan Level I User, and earned his Bachelor of Science in Software Development & Security from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
